My San Francisco
San Francisco is one of those cities that slowly grows on you. The more time I spend here, walking, exploring, paying attention the more I realize how much there is to it. There’s a lot said about this city, but there’s also a lot that gets missed. Amazing food, beautiful spaces, small moments that feel quiet and real. This isn’t a full guide. It’s just the San Francisco Ive come to know, the places I return to, again and again.
COFFEE
These are the spots I keep going back to. Not just for the coffee, but for how they feel, the neighborhood they’re in, and the small routines they’ve become part of.
Saint Frank
The Embarcadero/ Rincon Hill location
This is one of my go-to spots when I want to sit down and get things done. I’ll bring my laptop, grab a coffee, and just settle in for a bit. There’s something about being around other people doing the same thing, working, creating, taking a pause, that I really like. It feels calm, focused, and easy to spend time in.
Maison Nico
Financial District
This is where I go when I want to slow down and be on my own. I’ll get a drink, pick a pastry, bring a book, and just sit there for a while. It’s one of those places where time kind of disappears.
I also love that you can see everything happening in the kitchen, its quiet, but also satisfying to watch.
Motoring Cafe
cow Hollow
This is where I usually go with friends. It’s more social, more of a place to catch up and stay for a bit. The space itself is really interesting too, cars, design, people coming in and out. You can grab a drink, walk around, even look into the club side of it if you’re curious. It’s a different kind of coffee spot, but that’s exactly why I like it.
Eating in San Francisco
Food in SF is a big part of the city, whether you are looking for it or not. The city has thousands of restaurants and you really feel that when you start exploring. You’ll find everything from small neighborhood spots to places that are known well beyond San Francisco.
There’s also a strong focus on fresh ingredients here, especially being so close to Northen California farms. Its something you notice without even thinking about it.
Cotogna
Alora
Ferry Building wine bar
Penny Roma
San Francisco has given me more than I expected. Not just places, but moments. Quiet ones, everyday ones that slowly become part of you.
There’s always something happening, always more to explore, but the real beauty of the city is in how it lets you move at your own pace. This is the version of San Francisco I’ve come to know, and the one I keep coming back to.
